Stop Biting. Start Healing.

You worry about the bleeding cuticles, the germs, and the "social cost" at school, in college or life. You feel like a "nag," but you just want them to be OK.
You hide your hands during meetings. You feel a wave of shame when someone looks at your fingers. You feel out of control of your own body.
Nail-biting isn't a "bad habit" — it’s a subconscious program. You can’t fight a program with logic. You have to update the software.
"One of my clients hadn't seen the white of his nails since early childhood. He had begun biting them whenever he felt worried or nervous, and over time the habit became so automatic that he wasn't even aware he was doing it.
He was deeply ashamed of his nails. During our first session, he kept his hands hidden, and he told me how he had spent years at school hiding them during lessons and games.
Together, we gently worked through the emotional triggers behind the habit, building new coping strategies for those moments when the urge to bite would arise.
After just three sessions, he held out his hands to show me. He was so proud and rightly so. His nails were clean, healthy, and already showing visible growth. But it wasn't just his nails that had transformed; his confidence had grown just as much.
Three years on, his nails are still healthy. The habit that had followed him since childhood is now a thing of the past.."

Every person is different, and so is every nail-biting habit. That's why I don't offer a one-size-fits-all approach, I offer a structured, personalised programme designed to get to the root of the habit and replace it with something better.
Phase 1: The Discovery Call (Free — up to 20 minutes)
Before we begin, we have an informal chat to make sure we're the right fit for each other. There's no pressure and no commitment, just a conversation.
Phase 2: The Initial Session (up to 90 minutes)
This is where the real work begins. Together we explore what's driving the habit, whether that's stress, boredom, anxiety, or something else entirely and build a plan that's tailored specifically to you. You'll leave with practical tools to start using straight away.
Phase 3: Reinforcement (Follow-up session)
We lock in the progress you've made and build your personal "toolkit" strategies you or your child can draw on for life.
Many clients see lasting results within this three-session programme.
That said, everyone is different, and sometimes nail-biting is tied to deeper patterns, so a few extra sessions can be helpful. If that's the case we can continue working together, and those sesiions are charged separately.
You'll also have support between sessions if you need it, so you're not doing this on your own.

Absolutely not. You are always in charge, hypnotherapy is completely safe. Think of it less like a magic spell and more like a guided daydream. You're relaxed, focused, and fully in control throughout.
No. You'll likely find yourself in a deeply comfortable, natural state of relaxation, and you'll be completely aware of everything that's happening.
Most people can, yes, though some individuals are naturally more open and responsive than others. It's worth noting that hypnotherapy isn't recommended for those with certain medical conditions, including psychosis, severe depression, or epilepsy. If you're unsure whether it's right for you, the free discovery call is a great place to ask.
Yes, often remarkably well. While children can be highly responsive, adults who are genuinely fed up with their habit and ready for change frequently see the fastest results. All you need is an open mind and a real belief that change is possible. That might sound simple, but it's surprisingly powerful.
It's important to make it clear that we are all individuals and the number of sessions needed will vary. Someone who is 90- 100% committed to change will see results much quicker than someone who has a lower %.
"Because change can truly happen when the mind, body and nervous system are trained together, not separately."
Real change doesn’t happen in just one part of the system. That's why I work with (CBT) - thoughts and behaviours, hypnotherapy works with subconscious patterns and identity and breathwork works with the nervous system and emotional regulation.
When all three work together, change becomes faster, deeper, and more sustainable, because you’re not just changing what you think…you’re changing how your body responds, how your mind processes, and how your system feels safe.
That’s when real change happens.
